DOWNTOWN ROME TRANSFORMS INTO ONE GIANT STREET FESTIVAL

Come fiddle between the rivers in historic downtown Rome with two stages of live entertainment and some of the best bluegrass music in the south! Musicians will also be located at various locations throughout the festival. Pickers are invited to bring a fiddle and join the fun!

 

Discover fun family activities such as art and craft demonstrations and interactive games. Watch antique, vintage and muscle cars cruise-in to the car show. Pony Rides will be available! Shop downtown store sidewalk sales as well as food and drinks from local restaurants. Downtown Rome transforms into a huge street festival for a full day of fall fun. The best part, thanks to the generous support of downtown businesses and sponsors, entry is FREE

COVID GUIDELINES:
Masks are encouraged.
Please be socially distant while at the event.
If you are sick, we ask that you do not attend the event.
Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the event.

Please note: Broad Street will be closed to vehicle traffic from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 8.

Fiddlin' on the River

The Roman Holiday joins Fiddlin' Fest this year for an exciting boat ride on the Coosa River!  Come aboard for a leisurely cruise with the Griddle Lickers as they play fun and soulful music.  What could be better than a festival, fall, fiddlin', and a boat ride?!    

This cruise will depart from the Heritage Park boat dock behind the 2nd Avenue.  Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the Roman Holiday organizers.  For questions, call 706-622-6435 or email sgrimes@romega.us

  • How much does this event cost?

    • Entry is free! Vendors will have items for purchase and the pony rides will be $5. We encourage you to shop and eat downtown while at the festival! ​

  • Are dogs allowed at Fiddlin' Fest?

    • YES! We love to see dogs at our events! Just please keep them on a leash and clean up after them. ​

  • Where can I park?​

    • There will be FREE parking in the 3rd Ave deck by the Forum, as well as in the 4th Ave deck. ​

  • What time will the street be closed off?​

    • The street will be closed from 7am-8pm.​
